Payment
We don't want you to turn customers away because you don't support their preferred payment methods. Your Omnium website supports multiple payment options allowing customers to select their preference.
- cash payments and store pickup
A big proportion of your visitors will be window shopping for products available from a local supplier. Convert them into paying customers by letting them submit their order ready to collect from you and pay by cash. - cheque payments
Not everybody has access to a credit or debit card, or wants to use them all the time. Enabling cheque payments could increase your sales. However, we recommend you don't ship items until cheques have cleared. - PayPal
Customers pay direct from their PayPal account. An increasing number of people have balances available to spend in their PayPal account, and the introduction of Express Checkout means they don't even need to enter their details on your website - PayPal sends them automatically. PayPal can also be used as a traditional Payment Gateway to process debit and credit cards. - debit card / credit card via a Payment Gateway
Customers enter their card details on the Payment Gateway website, the Payment Gateway processes the details and sends confirmation of payment to your website. We currently support SagePay (formerly Protx), but are happy to implement other gateways such as SecPay and WorldPay by request. - Other options by request
PayPoint, and Google checkout are being tested.
