Search Engine Submissions

We don't submit your site to the search engines (why search engine submissions don't work). However, we do provide a high quality link to your website from one of our own websites.

Search Engine Optimisation

All the pages within an Omnium website have been optimised for search engines, this includes the page titles, keywords and description meta tags, use of the header tags, title tags and alt text. Omnium also produces search engine friendly URLs which include product/category names.

The menu structure is optimised for search engines, providing easy access to all your pages using text only links. The auto-generated sitemap links to all your pages.

Search engines like content rich websites. An Omnium website isn't just a list of products with an about us page and a contact page. We encourage all website owners to add as much content as possible

Google Site Maps

A Google sitemap is a special file that lists the URLs for a site. It allows us to include additional information about each URL: when it was last updated, how often it changes, and how important it is in relation to other URLs in the site. This allows Google to crawl the site more intelligently.

Mailing list / newsletter

Available as an optional extra with Omnium Base and Editions and included with Omnium Pro, the mailing list lets you send newsletters to your customers.

Customers can subscribe and unsubscribe via your website, and an unsubscribe link is automatically added to every email you send, making them SPAM-compliant.

Newlsetters are easy to send, and created in just the same way as any other page on your website. To reinforce your branding, newsletters use a simplified version of your website template. You can even include products. Once sent, one click adds the newsletter as a page on your website.
