WYSIWYG Editing

Most page types make use of the WYSIWYG editor. 'What You See Is What You Get' allows you to write your content just as you would in a word processor.

Web Standards

Web Standards are important to us. We've worked hard to make sure Omnium produces web standards compliant websites out of the box, without the need for specialist assistance.

Adding new content

Adding new content is simple. We dont restrict you to a set number of pages, and each page can have as much content as you see fit.

Content Roll-back / Version Control

Every time you make changes to your website, the previous version is stored. You can restore the old versions at any time.

Content Scheduling

You can choose when to publish your content. Display special offers and have them automatically expire. Write your press releases when you have the time.

Content Sharing

Content can be cloned within the website, on a page level and a content block level. Additional tags to stop the search engines penalising duplicate content are automatically added.

Content Approval

On multi-user accounts, you can set permissions so administrators need to approve content changes before they are shown on the website.

Check in & Check out

On multi-user accounts, only one person can edit content at any one time. You don't need to worry about your colleagues overwriting your latest epic.

Navigation

Built in menu types allow for any design, whether you want to use horizontal drop downs, or full vertical menus.

All menus are search engine friendly, and accessible.

Scalable

The content of your site within Omnium is kept separate from the design / presentation. Content is stored in the central MySQL database. This means that new styles and templates can easily be integrated with the site in order to create a new look and feel for a different audience - without changing or updating Omnium or your website in any way.
